Results of January 2025

The Central Geophysical Observatory named after Borys Sreznevsky reports that according to the combined hydrometeorological station Kyiv, the average monthly air temperature in January in Kyiv was -7.6°C, which is 4.4°C below the climatic norm. It is worth noting that the last cold January in the capital with a temperature (-5.7°C), lower than the long-term average, was observed in 2016.


The coldest was on January 18, when the minimum temperature dropped to -16.5°C in the morning. The warmest was on the 4th, when the maximum temperature rose to +1.1°C.


50 mm of precipitation fell on Nauki Avenue, or 135% of the monthly norm.
